| @Rocie Birthday editions work the basically the same way as all other editions. You still have to allow members/staff/participants to request the cards. Only thing special about them is that all the cards are available for birthday girl/boy to save. |

| @Rocie Even if it's hard to undertand GIMP at the moment, the only way to get used to it is by using it more. For me luckily, I already has Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Photoshop Elementals 11 when I started making cards. As Elements 11 is more simpler to use, I started off with it. However overtime, Elements 11 grew to be lacking and I had to switch to CS6 and oh boy did I get a headache trying to learn most of the functions available. Even now, it's still hard for me to navigate using CS6 :/ In addition and very luckily, kivvi-san gives me advice for card making. Also, GIMP does take a while to get used to and figuring out where everything is, but the time put into learning it is worth it when your hard work shows in your cards. I had a time where I used different applications to see how they worked and GIMP was one of them. It was certainly hard for me to use but I only got used to it by exploring all the options it had. Videos really dind't wotk me either when I was learning to use it. Although I only use CS6 now... there goes all my hard work towards learning how to use GIMP ;; sorry for wall of texting yall ._. |
