I love the story of King Solomon very wise,but he was not committed to the covenant,a good lesson for us to let only God to cling to and lead us daily by His righteous right hand.

Adonai granted what Solomon prayed for- Wisdom. But Satan had permission to test him. He used the tested theory, man's carnal hunger for mating with different forms and sizes of women. Man came with this desire imprinted in his DNA since the fall of Adam. The question here is who did Adam mate with to propagate the human race. Solomon mated with 700 wives and 300 concubines to propagate the seed of modern Israel. He erred that he bowed to the idol worshipping women first. And worshipped idols with them. Yeshua of Nazareth was made to pay the price of Solomon's sin. He as the wisest man to fall must carry the full responsibility.
King David is saved because he had repented sincerely.
But what about King Soloman?
The power of sin, and its exceeding sinfulness. Wisdom is no match against it. Once entertained defeat and imprisonment is the only result! God warned Cain, sin is at the door, you must rule over him! Must!, the imperative! God made men upright, but they have found many devices! This shows us,men choose sin, and that sin becomes natural because of use and not design. Men sin not because of Adam but because their father's practiced sin and made it natural to them. Sin never became exceedingly sinful in their consciousness because it was natural to our father's.
The idea of original sin must be false!
King Solomon also wrote in the last chapter of Ecclesiastes: “Remember the Lord your God in the days of your youth before those old and abysmal days come”
Sorry if it sounds nitpicking, but it's Ecclesiastes. Making that distinction because i think there is actually a book in the catholic version (i think) of the bible that is spelt "Ecclesiasticus". haha
Ecclesiastes is a different book from Ecclesiasticus.
Ecclesiastes is The Wisdom of Solomon, Ecclesiasticus is The Book of Sirach .
It reminds us that human desires cannot be satisfied , the eyes keep on seeing new things and the ears keep on hearing ...Only the love of God can complete us and have a meaningful life .

God doesn't love his creation, he views it as property.. play things, to do with as he wants under the pretense he made them and who the f*ck are YOU to question him, Bible even encourages such a notion. Romans 9:20-21 "But who do you think you are to second-guess God? How could a human being molded out of clay say to the one who molded him, “Why in the world did you make me this way?” Or are you denying the right of the potter to make out of clay whatever he wants?" There is it, you are lowly clay that only lives because he said so... when people talk like this we call them sociopaths, or tyrants, or villains.. But not God. God is good when he says this, this is love, because he made you, because he said so. The only ones who cant and refuse to see God is not a benevolent being just because he created existence are his followers.

Everything happens for a reason. God is and always will be ahead of everything. Nothing happens without his permission. Solomon had wisdom, but it was not enough to ward off lust. Lust is one of the biggest principalities opposing the growth of man. Very strong opposition and comes in as quiet as a mouse but can flourish into an elephant in your home. Its ok to run from it until, you are strong enough to fight it. His father suffered the same, however he asked for forgiveness at the end because he was given sight to see where his actions were leading. God approached Solomon twice about his ways... I dont know about you, but when upstairs asks you something today, you reply yesterday.

Great narration of King Solomon’s life, the king who had it all but lost it all for the pursuit of women, mostly foreign women. It’s a sad pattern that repeats itself in most of us, seeking the vanity of irresponsible pleasures and end up in the danger of losing our religion and regretting the pain we have caused ourselves and others.
But then God being God, mighty and magnanimous yanks sinners from destructive lifestyles to not only teach His ways, but for sinners to ask for forgiveness, to forgive others, to seek God in prayer, with a renewed spirit, enjoyable fellowship with the man of the cross….

God does not compromise with disobedience. Obedience to God is the only true path to fulfilment. Let's learn from the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments. It's not the beginning that matters most, but end of man justifies God's divine purpose in our lives.

Solomon in his later years repented the sins of his youth and will be heaven when Jesus returns to resurrect the righteous dead and the living saints home. David sinned also and was called out by the prophet an repented. We all sin but if we repent an confess our sins God will hear our prayers

He did not repent according to the word of God, he refused to do what was required by the law. Feelings do not override God's Word and his commands. You need to get into the Word and learn what it is all about. And remember that Jesus said that many believers will be assigned to eternal hell because he does not know them. Being ignorant of God's will is very dangerous for mankind, for believers, just as it was for Solomon.

Solomon is the one who wrote the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, song of Solomon. And from what he writes in Proverbs, he has explained that he had turned back to God or he repented
