other then the last boss i didn't really lose any health i found the game a little to easy but still excellant looking game

THAT WAS TRUELY EPIC!!! Best game I've EVER played on Newgrounds.
You sir are EXTREMELY talented, including those who helped develop the game. I played this thing from strart to finish, I loved every minute.Whoever created the concept for this game should be proud.
The framerate was perfect, gameplay was suberb, storyline was understandable. The environments were one of the best parts of the game, beautiful environments.
There really isn't anything I "hate" about this game, this is surely worth a five, not only that, but a spot on the top 100!

Absolutely flawless. I'd be curious as to how you did this and whether or not there was more thanone person working on it. I especially liked the sound effects comming off of the bosses, very powerful.

Thanks 1iv3. The actionscript is based on the flash super-samurai article by Michael Brandon Williams and Torben Nielsen. (google it) Objects are prerendered 3d mixed with photos (final boss combines pig guts, ram horns etc) - there's about 8-10 layers that move in 3d towards you with lots of hit code. Music is by Edgen and testing by friends and forums:) SFX mostly from flashkit - i couldnt have done this without the friendly help of the net, and Newgrounds for hosting it! Final ingredient? Lots of love for making games (awwwww....)

This is a piece of art! You could make millions off of making this a videogame. The animation is beautifully done and the creatures are fuckin awesome (I loved the ocean-dwelling one so much that I didn't want to kill it because it was so pretty)! Really though, nice NICE job. I loved it. Definitely going on my favorites list.

there's something about his whale moans that makes him a sad creature...originally he was much more ferocious, kicking up boats and bombing the water...i took some of his vulnerability and that became the lord of sacrifice boss. Thanks for the art comment - love to hear that:)
